Saturday, December 1, 10:30 a.m. Sierra Club Hike - WHITE MEMORIAL FOUNDATION & CONSERVATION CENTER, Litchfield.
Meet at the park entrance parking lot by the museum off Route 202 (Whitehall Road, about 2 miles west of Litchfield Center), for a relaxed 6+ mile hike. Rain date December 2. Call Michael Hofmann at (860) 521-6161 for more information.
Tuesday, Dec. 4, 8:30 a.m. Quinnipiac Trail, North Haven
We will car pool from the commuter lot on the corner of Farmington Ave. (Rt. 4) and Town Farm Rd. (this is where we met the very first official hike). Be there by 8:30 am and expect a 1:30 pm return. Leader Marie Coons

Meet at Westwoods Golf Course - Rt. 177 just north of Rt. 6. Leader Diana Meyer
Thursday, Dec. 6, 8:30 a.m. Appalachian Trail - Cornwall Area
Meet at Burlington Commons (Rt. 4 junction with Rt. 69) again with lots of food and water. We will continue north along the AT starting in Cornwall Bridge and finishing on West Cornwall Rd. This is about a 5 mile hike and I anticipate a 2:30-3pm return time. Leader Marie Coons

Tuesday, Dec. 11, 8:30 a.m. East Granby
This adventure will attempt to connect a park in East Granby with the Metacomet trail in the area of the Tariffville Gorge. Meet at 8:30 am in the parking lot of Sperry Park. This park is located between the old Towpath School and the new Hartford Hospital Wellness-Fitness Center on Rt. 10 just north of Rt. 44 in Avon. The entrance is at the new light for the Center. Meet at 8:30 am in the parking lot of Sperry Park. This park is located between the old Towpath School and the new Hartford Hospital Wellness-Fitness Center on Rt. 10 just north of Rt. 44 in Avon.
