Sunday, December 2, 1:30pm. SG, Holiday Hike and Social
Hike starts at 1:30 PM, Social and songs at 3:00 PM. Choice of short or long hike. All hikes are open to the public. Hike will leave from the bulletin board at the Sleeping Giant Park entrance on the north side of Mt. Carmel Avenue in northern Hamden, about 0.5 mile east of Whitney Avenue. Hikers should wear comfortable, supportive shoes and bring snacks and water, as desired. No pets, please
Thursday, December 6, 8:45 am, FCE - Roaring Brook Nature Center, Canton
postponement makeup from 11/15Meet at the Center's parking lot on Gracey Rd. Go N on Lawton Rd. (opposite Rt. 177) off Rt. 44, L on Gracey at the Nature Center sign. Pretty brook, waterfall, nice rolling terrain with some moderately steep hills. End of season luncheon to follow. L: Len Berton

Snowshoe hike. Meet in Hillstead back parking lot. Done about 11:30AM. Bring water, snacks. Rain, sleet, snow cancels. L: Jane Macomber
